ABO Gear Tot Insta-Tent for Children - Blue - SPF 50

Now everybody enjoys the convenience of emails, instant message, great web sites and even VoIP phone calls that high speed fiber optic communication network provides. But have you ever wondered how those magic fiber optic cables are installed from San Francisco to New York?

One secret weapon all those fiber optic cable installers must have to conquer the rough task of installing fiber cables in 50mph windy days, 120F hot summers and -40C freezing winters: A high quality fiber optic splice tent.

Fiber optic splice tents provide outside plant fiber installers a peaceful work space even in those harsh outdoor environments. They are highly portable (in most cases) and can withstand up to 60mph wind.

Some fiber work tents have a reflective suncap to effectively reduce temperatures in the tent. Typically, temperatures inside of a fiber optic splice tent can be reduced to 20% below outside temperatures. The suncap is made of metalized fabric, designed to reflect the sun's heat rays.

Some tents are designed for aerial line work. They have rotatable clamps so the tent can be fastened to a strand or gate guard without any additional hardware. They even have fiberglass legs for added safety.

Fiber work tents come in many different sizes and configurations. They range from 4'x4'x6.5' up to 12'x10'x8.5'. Specialized fiber splice tents are designed for ground work, aerial line work and many other applications.

How to set up a fiber optic splice tent in just 30 seconds

1. Lift roof strut and uncover the fiberglass rods

2. Grab rods connected to roof struts-raise and spread

3. Raise high enough for bottom rods to spread out tent side

4. Hold upper rod with one hand-push disc out and down with other hand

5. Grab rods connected to roof struts-raise and spread

6. Spread lower legs push out and down

7. Pop out side

Smith & Wesson Galaxy 28 LED Flashlight (20 White, 4 Red & 4 Blue LEDs)

The dual-switch Smith & Wesson Galaxy 28 flashlight is designed with two separate on-off push buttons, providing a choice between a powerfully bright 20 White LED mode or two battery-efficient LED modes--4 red LED (for night vision) or 4 blue LED (for low light viewing)--without the confusion of a single switch mechanism. It features the latest MSAT switch technology which allows the white LEDs to operate on one switch while the color LED modes are activated on a separate switch. Ideal for aviation, outdoors, automotive, home, and professional use, the 20 LED mode provides a brilliant beam of white light perfect for general usage, while the 4 LED mode is ideal for conserving battery power and signaling and identifying targets at night without hampering night vision. It's constructed of precision-machined 6063 anodized aluminum for maximum resistance to corrosion and weather. The flashlight also includes 3 AAA batteries and a deluxe holster with a spare battery holder. It's backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

Customer Review: Great Torch
You know some things just look and feel like they are good quality. Well I think this torch is one of them. It's about 6 and 1/2 inches long, and 1 inch in diameter at the back end and about an inch and a half at the light end. The beam is more of a flood light than the focused beam of an incandescent torch like a Maglight but is very white and bright at up to medium ranges. The red and blue light actually seem more focused than the white and are surprisingly bright for only 4 LED's each. Batteries are AAA's and loaded into a magazine type cylinder before being inserted into the back of the torch. Both ends of it have flats on them which will help stop it rolling. It comes with a very well made pouch that will fit on a belt and has storage for spare batteries. I bought it to do walk arounds on aircraft at night and for this purpose I think it will be ideal.
Customer Review: Who knew S&W was making flashlights?
I've been a big fan of multi-LED flashlights since my first 9-LED Innova one a few years ago - this is probably my 6th or 7th and, so far, it's my all-time favorite - puts out tons of light on white and the red and blue LEDs are great for when working at my customers' homes in a darkened room and need to take a quick peek at a manual or remote but don't want to lose my night vision.

British are very fond of camping and rate it highly for time passing needs. Ask any UK national about their favorite place for camping and invariably most of them will single out Devon any day. Devon boasts of over 150 camping sites and it is rare for one to not succeed in finding his/her favorite spot.

Most of these camping sites surround the major cities, however, once you go further down the countryside, there are several other breathtaking camping spots readily available.

If you are crazy about hiking and always looked for a camping location that could provide you the best of both camping and hiking then Dartmoor National park should not missed while going camping in Devon. This park situated around 213 miles southwest of London and 13 miles in the west direction from Exeter features some very beautiful vistas, amazingly looking purple heather and many water sources. These all make great visits during your camping expedition.

If camping in Devon and that too in Dartmoor National park, you should be aware of the famous Dartmoor ponies that wander around the landscape freely and also the spiny shrubs that can turn harmful. Only the seasoned hikers are advised to venture around the landscape alone.

Another point that you must keep in mind while camping in Dartmoor National Park is that you must not pull your car off the road and into the park anywhere you like. Devon authorities suggest that you are allowed to sleep at night only in your vehicles and that too only at certain designated places in the park.

If you try to be too clever in this regard, you can be pulled-up by the park rangers or the local police for committing an offence. You may even be fined a steep $160 for violating the local ordinance.

In case you are a member of a caravan, you must keep in mind that Dartmoor roads are very steep and winding at places. The caravan members are prohibited to drive the caravan over couple of bridges in the park. These are the ones located on the Two Bridges Road and the Ashburton.

As regards the backpack camping, Devon authorities are more generous and unless you are trespassing into the privately owned stretches of land and causing some sort of pollution or damage to the area, they will allow you to enjoy your camping experience.

You must also take care that you are not camping within any walls, in sight of any dwellings or house, close to the farmlands, besides the road, anywhere close to the road or in any demarcated area that is included in the reservoir catchment system. It is advisable to refer a detailed map to be able to locate the best camping spot that causes no inconvenience to the locals or the police in Devon.
